These terms describe how work is agreed and carried out. They apply to rinvek.com and to enquiries sent through it.
1. Who you are contracting with
Быков Даниил Михайлович, TIN 773374624589, a self-employed sole trader registered in the Russian Federation, operating from Москва. Email: hello@rinvek.com.
Not registered for VAT: no VAT is charged or shown in prices. A receipt is issued for every payment under the Russian self-employment tax regime.
Work is carried out personally. No employees are engaged.
2. Prices on this site are not an offer
Prices are shown as "from" figures and are an indication, not an offer capable of acceptance. The price and the timeline for your work are set after the task has been discussed and are fixed in an estimate and a contract. Until those are agreed, neither side is committed.
3. How work starts
- Enquiry. You describe the task through the form or by writing directly.
- Conversation. Questions get asked. This is free and commits you to nothing.
- Estimate. You receive a scope, a timeline and a price. The estimate is valid for 14 calendar days.
- Contract. If you agree, the contract is concluded — including by exchanging electronic documents or messages, where it is clear they come from you.
- Work in stages, each producing something you can actually look at and test.
An estimate is an estimate, not a promise of the final figure. If the scope turns out to be larger, you will be told before the extra work is done and it will be agreed separately. Work not agreed in advance is not payable.
4. Payment
Set out in the contract. By default:
- the work is split into stages, and each stage is paid after its result has been accepted;
- at the end of a stage you get a working result you can check, and you pay once you are satisfied with it;
- if you stop after any stage, you pay only for the stages already accepted.
Payment is by bank transfer. Your obligation is discharged when the funds arrive. A receipt is sent on the day payment is received.
Currency and the method of international payment are agreed case by case before the contract is signed; bank charges are borne by the party whose bank levies them.
5. Timelines
Stated in working days and counted from the moment you have handed over everything needed: access, materials, content and answers.
If work stops for reasons on your side, the timeline extends by the waiting period. You will be told in writing when that happens.
6. Rights in the result
Exclusive rights in the software, design and other results created to your brief pass to you in full once the relevant stage is paid for. Until then you may use the result only to review and accept it.
Source code and design files are handed over with the rights.
The exception is the contractor's own reusable components — libraries, utilities and scaffolding written before or outside your project. Those stay with the contractor, and you receive a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free non-exclusive licence to use them as part of your result. Such components are listed in the contract.
Third-party open-source software is used under its own licences, and those components are identified in the delivered result.
Showing the work. The contractor may state that the work was done and show the result in a portfolio. If you object, or you are bound by a confidentiality obligation, that is recorded in the contract — and the work is then either not published at all or described without your name, without the names of your systems and without anything that would identify you.
7. Warranty
- The result matches what the contract and the specification describe.
- Defects that make it behave differently from that description are fixed free of charge for 90 calendar days after acceptance.
- The first month of support after launch is free.
The warranty does not cover changes made by you or by others, failures of third-party services, hosting or networks, new requirements outside the agreed scope, or the consequences of declining a measure the contractor recommended in writing.
8. What is expected from you
- Provide accurate information, materials and access.
- Answer questions and accept stages within the time the contract allows.
- Hold the rights to whatever you hand over — text, images, trade marks, data. If supplied material infringes someone else's rights, that is your responsibility.
- Do not hand over other people's personal data without a lawful basis. If the work genuinely requires access to such data, a separate data processing agreement is signed first.
9. Liability
Each side is liable as the law provides. The contractor's liability is limited to the amount actually paid for the stage in which the breach occurred, except where the law does not permit such a limit.
The contractor is not liable for your lost profits, for the operation of third-party services, or for consequences arising from inaccurate information you supplied.
Where you are a consumer, nothing in these terms limits rights the law gives you and does not allow to be limited.
10. Ending the contract
Either side may withdraw on written notice. You pay for accepted stages and for costs actually incurred; the contractor hands over the results of paid stages and returns any unearned advance.
The contractor may stop work if you go more than 30 calendar days without answering questions the work cannot continue without, or if payment terms are broken.
11. Complaints and disputes
Complaints go to hello@rinvek.com and are answered within 10 working days. This step comes before any proceedings.
The contract is governed by the law of the Russian Federation, and disputes are resolved by the courts of the Russian Federation, unless a mandatory rule of your own country's law says otherwise — which for consumers it often does.
12. Personal data
How data is handled is set out in the Privacy Notice. The text accepted when the form is sent is the Consent.
13. Changes
These terms may be updated. The current version is published here with its date. Contracts already concluded stay governed by the version in force when they were signed.
